I work with a spectacular team responsible for preparing journal entries and compiling the financial statements and management reports. As a process improvement proponent, I am constantly looking for ways to find efficiencies for my team and for the Company, which leads to times savings and higher satisfaction. Served on engagements in the assurance services department for approximately 3 years for a variety of entity types (public, financial institutions, non-profits, private profit, employee benefit plans) in-charging many with up to two staff. One of two employees to have performed the SSAE 16 audits for the firm. Served approximately 6 months in the tax department preparing all types of returns including C Corp, S Corp, Partnerships, Individual, Non-Profits and other miscellaneous returns and correspondence.

Managed the accounting department including daily tasks, month end and year end processes; Project Manager with software vendor predecessing and during conversion

Assisted the Controller in preparing the financial statements, budgets, month end processes, daily help with payroll; assisted the Vice President of Operations by building reports and paying carriers and own authority drivers, customer service; Co-performed IT management duties along with IT in-house and outsourced professionals
