I enjoy wearing many hats and keeping each day unique. I jump at the chance at learning new skills and getting involved in as many aspects of the business as possible.When I started at Forward Technology in 2010, I was hired for Sales Administration. I assisted sales staff with quote generation, created design advertisements, kept the website updated, and helped plan/organize trade shows. As the years went by, I moved more into a production control position. I’m involved in all the processes from order entry through production in the shop. It’s also my responsibility to prepare our plant for our yearly inventory audits. Recently I just took over as Customer Service Manager in addition to my other responsibilities. Having the many years in the business beforehand has been very helpful in getting a good grasp of the machines we sell, how they work, and creating connections with our customers. With the help of the engineering staff, I’m able to assist our customers with technical support issues, find the parts they need, or set up service trips to visit their plants.At Millerbernd's, I enjoyed working in Accounts Receivable doing deposits, invoicing, and collection calls. I also was the designated Safety Coordinater and conducted safety training with shop employees, met with the Safety Committee, and took care of worker's compensation claims. In addition, I answered a multi-line phone system, did any other general office duties as needed, and helped with making job packets to send out to the shop floor.
