About Krista Siler

I am a University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign junior in the James Scholar Honorary Program. I am studying Human Development and Family Studies with a double minor in Legal Studies and Political Science. On campus, I am a research assistant for the ASAP Lab and Vice President of a social sorority, Kappa Delta. Off-campus, I am currently an intern for the Champaign County Public Defenders office. In February 2024, I will be enrolled in an exchange program through the Gies College of Business. I will attend Vrije Universities Amsterdam in the Netherlands. I plan to push outside my comfort zone to broaden my personal and professional horizons. I intend to graduate early in December 2024 with high honors. I seek hands-on opportunities to apply my knowledge while expanding my transferrable skills and gaining real-world experience as I prepare for law school. I am interested in Family Law but looking to immerse myself in various fields.
