General Summary:Art Director is a key member of the marketing team, working across all departments to create, produce and curate the visual images for all D2C and core productions in Discovery Finland. Art Director is in charge of developing and implementing channel identities. Art director is in charge of Key art creative production for both Marketing and Product. Art Director plans and creates visual marketing materials for both on-air and off-air campaigns as well as corporate and sales needs. They make sure the visual identities of the channels and all of the marketing campaigns are aligned with the brand strategies and reach the set objectives. Overall responsibility for visual identity of channels and products across all marketing assets. AD creates and produces marketing campaigns together with the Creative Producer. Key Responsibilities: • Create and manage brand guidelines for all assets across products and channels. • Generate clear ideas and concepts in tandem with other creatives in team • Responsible for Key art creative production for both Marketing & Product • Oversee all photo shoots to ensure we receive best output • Work closely with external creative agencies to ensure clear, effective and efficient feedback is given & ensure strongest creative output in line with network vision. • Produce sketches, storyboards, roughs to visualize ideas • Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience • Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines • Manage and delegate responsibilities to other designers and provide directions • Planning marketing campaigns together with Creatives in marketing team • Creating visual elements for marketing campaigns • Graphic elements for corporate and sales needs • Partner with Social Media specialist in social media brand visual identity
