• worked on four district communications, including the Superintendent's "myDPS" weekly community email, growing the distribution list to 150k+ parents, community members, and elected officials.This project garnered a win in the Westword's 2012"Best of.." edition.

Developing and executing content and marketing for fundraising campaigns.

Managed team focused on teacher professional development programs with an annual attendance over 5,000. Crafted messaging that served marketing and strategic goals, ensuring approaches attracted audiences (grant writing, program development and diverse content). Used depth of experience to write, edit, and review copy to meet Museum goals. Applied writing skills to submit a major government grant (awarded two-year IMLS grant) for innovative project enabling DMNS to build audience base, connect new partners, and showcase a model of programming which served two high needs school districts in the Denver-metro area. Maintained a current and working understanding of the values, assets, and priorities of informal education through work at the Museum, along with skills for communicating with prospective stakeholders and audiences.When making complex or layered decisions worked to take time to gather information anddiplomatically consult different perspectives in order to make informed choices.
