I started this charity to memorialize the civic contributions of my dad, Darryl Crabb. He was a life-long resident of Midland, MI and educator in the Midland Public School system. He was the long-time baseball coach at Jefferson Intermediate, but also coached football, track, and tennis at both Jefferson and Northeast Intermediate schools. The proceeds raised will be equally divided between MAYFL (Midland Area Youth Football League), the two Midland Little Leagues (Northwest Fraternal and Northeast), and the Darryl K and Mary Alice Memorial Trust at Trinity Lutheran Church in Midland, Our main fund-raising vehicle will be an annual golf and poker tournament. There will also be a free kid's 9 hole par 3 golf tournament so children can learn about the tradition of golf in a fun, family-friendly environment.

I was responsible for authoring certain parts of Safety Data Sheets as a contractor for Dow Chemical.

Team responsible for maintenance and management of Material Safety Data Sheet databases for various Dow facilities and manufacturing plants.

Managed a team of classified ad sales people. In charge of developing new ad campaigns and special events to increase classified ad sales. Other responsibilities included communicating the value of classified advertising to local business executives throughout the Midland Daily News circulation area.

Oversaw all aspects of the local marketing campaigns as well as sponsorships and other fund raising activities to promote the Mall and Mall tenants to the local community and increase Mall traffic and sales. Responsibilities also included all ad buys for the Mall in the region including radio, billboard, TV, and print advertising. I was also responsible for coordinating all grand openings of new Mall tenants and special events. Major accomplishments include raising funding for the children's play area and coordinating grand opening of Barns & Noble bookstore.

I was in charge of creating promotions and selling advertising for the Downtown Midland area as well as Midland based car dealerships. Events were designed to highlight Downtown and local businesses and subsequently increased ad placement and sales rates for the paper. I belonged to the Downtown Business Association Group and was responsible for creating the Chili and Salsa Taste-off, the Pumpkin Festival, the Art Walk, and was also Co-Chair of Mannequin Night. I was named the Midland Downtown Business Association “Business Person of the Year” in June 1999.
