Current Responsibilities:- Manage Severance Tax Exemptions (Minimum Production and New Pool) in KS and Nebraska. Obtain substantial retroactive refunds.- Manage Ad Valorem Rendition process for 33 Counties including BOTA applications and refunds.- SARA Tier II Reporting in KS, NE and CO.- Respond to Dept. of Revenue audit requests. Historical:- Manage daily business operations at two independent oil and gas production companies.- Completion of Oil and Gas Ad Valorem tax renditions + Severance Tax Exemption management.- Negotiate mineral leases in Kansas and Nebraska.- Track scheduling for MIT testing, Pit Closures, Severance Tax Exemption, Shut In and TA - Complete SARA reporting.- Track undeveloped leasehold acreage for renewal options.- Track SPCC plan updates.- Supervise groundwater monitoring well drilling crews.- Field Geologist - develop work plan - water and soil sampling - reporting.Experience managing daily operations of an independent oil and gas production company for up to 125 wells on 80 leases in Kansas and Nebraska.I have four years experience as an environmental field geologist leading to promotion to Project Manager. As a field geologist and PM I was responsible for overseeing a contaminated groundwater monitoring program throughout Kansas (UST - petroleum hydrocarbon), including performance of field work, supervision of field technicians, supervision of drilling crews, research and report writing, maintenance of relationship with regulatory personnel, and accurate budgeting of time and money per project.Able to work remotely/telecommute on projects located in Kansas. I also have experience as a legal secretary, courthouse records researcher, map maker, event planner, hazardous material handling training and CPR.Able to work with diverse groups and personalities to get the job done.
