Onit’s App Builder is a product development platform marketed standalone to solve complex business workflow issues for corporate legal departments and used internally to create and market enterprise legal solutions to Fortune 500 clients. Manage a team of developers, product analysts and UX resources to envision, scope, design and deliver product enhancements to the App Builder platform, ranging from small, targeted improvements to large-scale overhauls of aging functionality. Recent achievements include managing the team through a full UX overhaul while re-writing platform authoring tools, integration of Open AI into our platform toolset and selecting and implementing Workato Embedded as the preferred iPaaS for platform integrations. Also implemented microservices-based platform extensibility framework to expand the technology team and release product enhancements to the market faster and with reduced risk. Initial projects developed using extension platform included integrations with Box and Dropbox, revised search capability, document generation and advanced micro-UI interactions.The platform being core to Onit’s business, work cross-functionally to identify necessary platform product enhancements. Planned and executed all design, development and testing activities for the IDEXX Cornerstone Patient Management System. This effort included the management of a mix of 25 local and remote resources. Primary responsibilities included defining the vision and technical strategy for the product, accountability for all product management and development budgets, deliverables, personnel and product timelines, acting as the primary technical interface for large customer accounts and providing design and implementation oversight for legacy extensions and new platform development efforts.AccomplishmentsFrom 2006 to 2008, redesigned and implemented the IDEXX-PACS (Picture Archiving and Retrieving Software) application. From 2008 to 2010, as the Chief Architect of the combined IDEXX Digital and IDEXX Cornerstone architecture group was responsible for all product architectural decisions, most notably the implementation of the Electronic Medical Notes feature in Cornerstone 8.0. In 2010, led a Product Management team created to conceptualize and gather requirements for an extension to the Cornerstone platform designed for multi-clinic groups to provide advanced ad-hoc reporting capability, sharing of clinical data and standardization of business processes, IDEXX Cornerstone Group Manager. In 2011, re-built the Cornerstone product management and development teams, originally located in Eau Claire, WI, from the ground up in Portland, Maine, as an agile team while simultaneously executing the largest release ever of the IDEXX Cornerstone PIMS application. Received awards for IDEXX-PACS implementation and participating in the company’s move to establish guidelines for the creation of consistent application requirements.
