Anthropologie's Apparel Department is more than just clothing and accessories. Each piece is created with our customer in mind; to allow her to express her individuality while being on trend and figure flattering. Managing the Apparel Department is about ensuring our sales team are knowledgeable, skilled and helpful stylists. As a manager of the department I evaluate sales trends, analyze breakdown of divisional sales, react to business through merchandizing, cycle of product as well as coaching and training a sales team of over thirty associates. Through the department I maintain and promote loss prevention standards, coach on loss prevention processes as well as maintain store controls. Through Anthropologie I have gained experience recruiting and onboarding permanent and seasonal associates using Success Factors, leading New Hire Training Orientations as well as managing training and development of all new staff. I am a people focused manager whose priority is to drive sales through the development of a great team. I am continuously training and developing Assistant Department Managers through strong coaching, leading by example, setting high standards and ensuring accountability of all team members.

Bump to Bump Maternity, an online retail website, was created as a sole proprietorship to provide trendy, affordable specialized apparel for expectant women. As sole proprietor I created a thoughtful business plan, launched a fully functioning e-commerce website, outsourced second hand apparel and managed all facets of the company. Bump to Bump Maternity provided exceptional customer service and for two years to a customer base all across Canada. After accepting a management position with Anthropologie I decided to take a break from growing this start up to focus on one career.
