Responsible for maintaining relationships with practice referral sources in Minneapolis/St. Paul and the surrounding areas. Continuing the development, maintenance and growth of the practices, coordinating and implementing practice outreach programs, and serving as a patient advocate while representing the best interests of the practices.

Responsible for managing and being accountable for the assigned Doctor(s) of Ophthalmology practice, ensuring successful clinic and surgery days all the while meeting established metrics. This included assisting with facilitation of surgeries, procedures and scheduling of return appointments and completing documentation of the patient exam into the patient’s electronic health record (EHR) as directed by the provider. Administrative support is also provided, including managing calendars and corespondence per MD's preference, and partnership with management was essential to facilitate efficient clinic flow and ensure quality patient care.

Responsible for providing high level of Patient Care protocols in order to satisfy patient needs during their entire experience at our practice, inlcuding scheduling surgery and post-surgery follow-up care. Specific tasks performed in this role include the following:• Prepare surgical charts for doctors who perform surgery at Phillips Eye Institute, and work closely with staff at Phillips Eye Institute in making sure operations run smoothly on surgery day.• Schedule co-surgeries between Minnesota Eye doctors and other physician practices, and working with each doctor's clinical assistant to coordinate their surgery templates.• Perform face-to-face meetings with patients, answer their questions, and schedule them for surgeries.• Created and maintain documents, including training procedure manuals, used by Patient Care Staff to help aid in process of scheduling at Phillips Eye Institute.• Utilize Electronic Health Records and Practice Management systems with efficiency and accuracy.• Main contact for several referring practices and practice excellent customer service skills to meet everyone’s needs.
