Responsible for initiatives that foster sustainable economic growth in the Central Okanagan by supporting existing businesses and encouraging new investment, including workforce development, regional promotion and sector and business development.

The Community Futures Development Corporation of the Central Okanagan (CFDCCO) is a community based organization funded by Western Economic Diversification Canada and contracts with the Province of BC and private organizations to deliver business development programs. The organization and programs are governed by a volunteer board of local business people and community leaders.

Development Lender: Analyzed loan applications and business plans for business viability, made lending decisions or recommendations to committee. Supported a portfolio of loan clients with ongoing business advice and mentorship, including regular review of financial statements and cash flow forecasts. Social Enterprise Lead: Provided specialized advisory services to social entrepreneurs and worked with management to achieve social objectives including the Equal Access to Capital Loan program. Speaker/Facilitator/Educator: Delivered presentations for audiences of 10-100+. Facilitated entrepreneurial and leadership workshops and training at post-secondary institutions, online and at various events throughout BC. Advocate: Partnered with government, non-profits, economic development agencies and private enterprise to promote entrepreneurship in BC and connect women entrepreneurs to resources. Business Counselor: Provided insightful solution-based business advisory services to entrepreneurs at all stages of business
