Formula Alberta is a general contractor specializing in heavy civil projects including large cast in place structures, bridge works , industrial/ commercial site development, MSE retaining walls and roadworks.Responsibilities include:• Plan, organize, schedule and coordinate construction project activities, including mobilization, demobilization, man-power requirement, budget restrictions, scheduling of equipment and crews, all paperwork including developing TAS and ECO plans, and ordering of materials to ensure work is effectively and efficiently executed.• Managing multiple projects from start to completion, ranging in value with the largest project being $4,000,000.• Acting quickly to resolve conflicts that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances. First point of contact in office outside of Site Superintendent. • Complete take-offs from drawings when estimating or ordering to ensure material quantities are accurate • Ensuring compliance with contract documents and clients requests. • Utility locates and coordination with utility companies on relocating or hydrovacing lines. • Coordination and communication between crew members, client, contractor, sub-contractors and regulatory authorities.• Estimate and provide formal quotes for Extra Work Orders or Change Orders.• Review and provide acceptance or develop claims on progress estimates. Tracking of ordered material quantities and keeping of corresponding documentation. • Finding new opportunities and ensuring eligibility to bid on these opportunities. • Obtaining bonding and insurance on per tender or per job basis.• Develop all RFP, RFQ, RFPQ responses or project proposals. • Obtaining quotes to ensure accurate estimating / helping the Senior Estimator.• Estimating on projects to compare with Senior Estimator’s prices.

• Responsible for researching and approving or denying clients cheques cashing requests from over 500 branches across Canada for values up to $10,000• Gathering information and contacting companies to determine which cheques to cash• Contacting police to file reports for fraudulent or stolen cheques including fraudulent identification• Responsible for customer engagement including payment plans for customers in debt• Building customer relationships through customer care calls to ensure clients satisfaction and to determine and prevent fraudulent activities within each branch• Responsible for resolving customer and branch employee issues via telephone and email • Provide training for new staff/team members
