Since 1996, I have been fully dedicated to and immersed in the world of behavior analysis. I received my bachelors from Florida State University in English & Communications and moved on to receive my Board Certification from the University of South Florida in 2003. My early career was shaped by working under Dr. Jennifer Austin, Head of Behavior Analysis at the University of Wales and receiving extensive training in the application of Verbal Behavior Training under the direction of Vince Carbone.I have always worked with young children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in local schools, within the community and in hospitals as much as I could. My success in the applications of Applied Behavior Analysis have presented me with countless opportunities; one of my most proud achievements being the opportunity I had to develop and implement my own graduate school (USF, 2003) program internship, training graduate school peers in Verbal Behavior interventions. In 2005, I proudly launched my own Applied Behavior Analysis company, Cayer Behavioral Group. Since then, Cayer Behavioral Group has grown to become the leader in autism services across North Florida and South Georgia. Cayer Behavioral Group employs over a hundred individuals made up of student therapists, occupational therapists (OT), speech language pathologists (SLP), registered behavior therapists (RBT) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCBA).CBG’s primary focus is “hands on” change. Whereas other companies observe, collect data and report to teachers and parent’s ideas on how to elicit behavior change, my organization’s model is to actively participate in therapy and demonstrate how to access real time behavior change with ultimately creates a “new normal” for every family.
