· Manage the HR function for BMLA headquarters in Los Angeles providing HR and Operational support to the U.S. business.· Draft policies and training procedures for the employee handbook, the Warehouse, and the Concept Store.· Responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process.· Process bi-weekly payroll through ADP.· Handle all employee orientations, training, and on-boarding.· Work with OSHA to ensure compliance throughout the entire office, warehouse, and sewing manufacturing facility.· Responsible for drafting all of the job descriptions for U.S. positions.· Strategize with the senior management team to successfully establish a strong vibrant corporate culture and business practice.· Manage all insurance policies including medical, workers compensation, property, etc.· Responsible for coordinating the Open Enrollment process and making suggestions to improve current policy options.· Responsible for drafting the Emergency Evacuation Plan.· Coach Supervisors and Team Leaders on the proper ways to manage, train, and engage their teams.· Supervise the warehouse and concept store staff as needed.· Champion company culture and initiatives to promote employee engagement and retention.· Assist with all event planning including sample sales, holiday parties, monthly release parties, and other promotional events.· Coordinate and participate in all annual review meetings for the staff.
