Responsible for the development and delivery of the corporate communications and stakeholder engagement strategy, incorporating member relations, internal and external communications, events and sponsorship, media, advocacy and maintaining effective and engaged relationships.Key achievement is the creation of a Social Licence Strategy on behalf of the industry, an initiative to raise awareness of the industry’s strategic importance and strengthen its identity amongst all stakeholders.Also provide advice and guidance at executive and Board level on business planning and strategy.Chemistry Australia is the national voice for the strategically significant $45 billion Australian chemistry industry, one of the largest manufacturing sectors in the country. The industry employs more than 64,000 people and contributes more than $11.5 billion to GDP in industry value add. Members of Chemistry Australia are positioned across the entire value chain including manufacturers, importers and distributors, logistics and supply chain partners, raw material suppliers, fabricators, compounders, recyclers, research, academia and service providers to the industry.
