I am the managing partner of Valence LLP, a boutique transactional real estate firm. My practice encompasses a wide range of real estate transactions. I draft and negotiate commercial leases, subleases and other occupancy agreements for office, industrial, laboratory and retail property on behalf of both landlords and tenants. I represent clients ranging from start-ups to public companies in a wide range of industries, including software, technology, life sciences, financial services, manufacturing and retail. I serve as national real estate counsel to clients with multiple offices and retail locations throughout the United States and represent landlords in connection with the leasing of Class A office portfolios.In addition to commercial leasing, I represent buyers and sellers in the acquisition and disposition of commercial property. I also negotiate construction contracts on behalf of property owners and tenants, including manuscript and AIA industry forms.Prior to starting our firm in 2012, I practiced at a global law firm in San Francisco. I received my B.S. from U.C. Berkeley in 2000 and my J.D. from UCLA Law School in 2004.
