Kasvuryhmä (Growth Collective Finland) is a movement bringing together the most ambitious Finnish mid-sized companies and their growth captains. We want to bring alive an entrepreneurial spirit, and ensure that the most impactful Finnish companies and their leaders have the skills and the attitude needed for growth, renewal and outrageous global success.

I worked as the Executive Director for the European Youth Parliament network (www.eyp.org) at the Schwarzkopf Foundation in Berlin. My responsibilities included leading and coordinating the network on an international level; leading a team of seven employees; guiding 3500 volunteers and 40 national member associations; financial management and fundraising; partnership and stakeholder management; external representation; governance and board management; quality control; programme and impact development. During my tenure, and thanks to successful fundraising, we doubled our yearly budget to 1,2 MEUR and doubled the size of the team to eight employees at the office. I continually coached and adviced project teams in event management, project management, fundraising, stakeholder management, NGO management and strategy development and implementation. I regularly facilitated group discussions and gave training modules. The EYP is a non-partisan European educational programme, working with non-formal education for youth. EYP involves 35.000 young participants in 600 annual events in 40 European countries, enabling young people to meet and get to know each other, and become politically aware. Our work promotes intercultural understanding and the personal skills development of the participants.

Swedish People's Party in Finland - I was responsible for the party’s international relations, events abroad and international events in Finland. I was the contact person for all international contacts and communication, and worked daily with event organising, contacts to speakers and participants, event budgeting and marketing.

Assistant to MEP Carl Haglund (–07/2012) and MEP Nils Torvalds (07/2012–)I was based in Helsinki and had the responsibility for events and visibility in Finland. I worked with event planning and management, calendar enquiries, webpages, media relations, PR, and followed the EU-debate from a Finnish perspective.

Conducting a research on municipal youth services in seven biliangual municipalities in Finland.The work included summarising the existing research and litterature on the topic; planning the research design; planning and setting up the survey as well as advertising it; conducting interviews; writing the project report with the research results; and giving presentations about the findings.

Leading the project included project management, event planning, fundraising, event marketing, responsibility for sponsorship relations, and leading a team of 30 organisers. The two-year project culminated in the organising of the 62nd International Session of the European Youth Parliament in Helsinki in October 2009. The ten-day event gathered 350 participants from over 30 European countries.

I worked for the Department for Communications and Culture, at the Unit for Europe and Civic Information. I was in charge of updating the websites with news as well as producing other materials relevant to citizens about the EU.

I worked at the Unit for Policy Planning and Research and was in charge of event management. I also assisted the researchers in their work and wrote reports from various seminars and events.

I was in charge of campaign and events management for the organisation as a whole. I planned, coordinated and was in charge e.g. for the parliamentary election campaign for the 2007 elections.
