I’ve planned tea for two and travel for two-hundred. I’ve built up team spirit by breaking it down at dance party Fridays. I’ve been a writer, a decorator, a professor, a planner. I’ve played host, played coach, played confidant, and played a part of creating one of those “once-in-a-lifetime” workplaces.I’ve been on the front lines, on the phone lines, the one who reads between the lines, the one who leads the line, though most often from behind. I’ve been the right-hand woman who deals with requests from left-field. I’m one to roll up my sleeves. I’ve rolled out policies and programs. I’ve rolled with A-Players, B-listers, and the C-suite, even when it wasn’t my role, because that’s how I roll. I’ve set tables, set stages, set standards, set the bar higher because something about settling is very unsettling. I put words into action. I know what it means to align, to accelerate, and to inspire. I’ve done what it takes, what was needed, what delights. I don’t do things because they’re buzzworthy, but I guarantee I can create buzz. I act with a sense of ownership, I work with a sense of urgency, and I thrive on creating great places to work.
