I believe growth happens when you learn and help others along the way. Ever since I was young, I constantly ask the "why" and "how" questions about everything around me. I want to understand how the world works, how things are put together from smallest pieces to its whole, and then be able to explain it to someone who never knew about it. I simply love learning and helping people learn! My shift in career from education to data analytics gave me the opportunity to continue to thrive in storytelling, but focus more on the mathematics and puzzles with the use of technology--looking at overall data, searching the patterns and seeking trends while using the various tools to explain a story about what is happening and where it could lead towards in the future. Earning my Master's in Data Analytics at WGU where I learned R programming, Python, SQL and Tableau from zero experience to working on projects provided opportunities to apply within my professional career and development.Data Analytics is the blend of my favorite subject in my undergraduate years (statistics) with something new and technical to me (computer science) which has helped me build a career where I’ve assisted saving millions of dollars at Spice World, thanks to technology and building a strong rapport to various key team members. As companies grow and increase their online footprint, there will always be a plethora of data out there ready to be analyzed. I want to help people understand the "how" and "why" in data and provide the story to explain it all.
