And I use an agile approach to building an operation that empowers employees to iteratively innovate along side their customers.My client work has included:- Help a super computer business through customer discovery to identify new growth opportunities through expanded market reach and solution portfolio design- Provide a customer focus in a 6 month new business discovery engagement with a public university including idea exploration, extensive primary and secondary customer research and design of new service offerings.

Leading research to uncover accelerators and barriers to broad delivery of primary care to the homes of our frailest elderly patients. Using ethnographic and systems discovery approaches to hone in on areas for innovation, whether technical or operational. Designing solutions that fill current gaps and engaging partners to address those gaps.

Helping the US government to be more entrepreneurial, innovative and lean, HHSentrepreneurs provides a novel framework to attract outside talent in areas including open innovation, agile development, and lean methodologies to accelerate innovation within HHS. Startup organizations have demonstrated that rapid iteration between various versions or features of a product can yield successful results, and HHS would like to promote these methods internally to address high-priority projects. My projects are about developing new ways of working to quickly increase our impact on the American public.

Lead global team of engineers to serve as trusted advisors for HP's Fortune 500 customers considering deployment of HP's new desktop and room video conferencing solutions. Engaged with CIO's and IT managers to present solution competitive advantages and develop return-on-investment models that led to sales of over $90M in the first year of business. Partnered with Vidyo and HP Enterprise Services to deliver deployment blueprints that included data center infrastructure, network design and use models for enterprise customers deploying thousands of video endpoints around the globe.

Developed the next generation technology and business strategy for HP's Halo business to grow into cloud-based desktop video conferencing, a $10B market opportunity. Lead the team to integrate with HP's corporate strategy and gained approval and funding from the executive team. Formulated product requirements and forged technology partnership with a 3rd party vendor to deliver to requirements. Created GTM approach for solution and formed the team to execute, launching the new product portfolio within 6 months after the partnership was announced and 1 year after board of directors investment approval.

Hired worldwide team of business development and deployment managers to sell and deliver the new Halo telepresence solution to HP's Fortune 50 enterprise customers, growing from zero to over 300 systems and $70M in revenue in the first 3 years of business. Lead integration with HP's global sales team to ensure Halo's inclusion in critical accounts annual business plans. Built commercialization plan including PR, messaging, naming and positioning of solution that established HP's global presence in video conferencing. Created global service agreement in line with HP's master contract and successfully negotiated signatures with over 50 large enterprise customers.

Lead business and technology development for HP's new Halo business including development of the business plan and design partnership with Dreamworks. Created new approach to video conferencing that included environmental design and a central managed service that delivered meeting reliability to executive customers wanting to reduce travel and increase business effectiveness. Forged new partnerships with architectural, technology and delivery partners. Led organizational design and managed the project for successful execution within a year of launching the program.

Lead the architectural design and implementation of 3D graphics middleware toolkit that provided management and visualization of very large data sets. Partnered with Microsoft and Silicon Graphics to build industry standards across platforms and worked with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to leverage for their applications. Integrated with best innovative features in HP's graphics workstations ensuring customer preference for applications running on our systems.
