I am a second-year student at Indiana University-Bloomington, using my skills to pursue marketing at the Kelley School of Business. I strive to make an impact in my community through leadership, collaboration, and offering effective solutions to problems. I have demonstrated these strengths in a variety of positions, beginning in high school with my role as a soccer referee. I led by example and was promoted to a head referee, helping my fellow team members display fairness and using diplomacy to settle any issues during the matches. I then accepted an offer as a maintenance worker, further adapting to create an American Camp Association (ACA) accredited camp grounds. I worked to preserve the cleanliness of the community for the 200+ students, staff members, and guests. This past summer, I had the wonderful opportunity to intern with Greenix Pest Control as an outside sales representative. Working directly with customers, I sold 159 accounts while generating $137,000 in revenue for the company.Now at Indiana University, I continue to seek new opportunities to expand my interpersonal and professional leadership skills. I have joined the Sales Club at Kelley to surround myself with like-minded individuals who share the same passion for sales and overall business. I have connected with members of the Global Sales and Investment Management Workshops as I search for ways to enrich my learning about management and marketing. To further strengthen my skills in human relations and sales, I enroll in rigorous classes and look for other business-related student organizations. Moving forward, I will be returning as a sales representative at Greenix Pest Control to expand my interpersonal and project management skills.
