As a writer, entrepreneur, coach, and renowned fitness and performance expert, she is the author of "The 12-Minute Athlete" and founded the transformative online platform and app, 12 Minute Athlete, helping hundreds of thousands globally to unlock their fitness potential.Krista believes that everyone has untapped potential — and she has made it her life's mission to help uncover it. As the Center for Human Potential’s first chief performance coach and one of its lead curriculum designers, she works with legendary psychologist Dr. Scott Barry Kaufman, the world’s foremost expert in the science of human potential. Her goal as a coach is to help people live fully, relying on philosophical wisdom as well as the latest insights from psychology and neuroscience.Krista's own athletic journey is a testament to her belief that everyone is an athlete. From mastering handstands to training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, she pushes the limits of what's possible, inspiring others through her dedication. Her insights have been featured on ESPN, NBC Miami, and in notable publications like The Washington Post and SHAPE.Krista attended five different colleges — from photography school to journalism school — before realizing that for a college to award her a degree, she would need to stay in one place for longer than one semester. She received an undergraduate degree in International Affairs from Lewis & Clark College and has been on a self-learning kick ever since, studying everything from sports psychology to marketing and branding, philosophy, physical therapy, app creation and design, neuroscience, and more (so basically, anything other than her actual degree). When she isn't writing, training, or standing on her hands, you can find her nose-deep in a book or traveling the world.
