I'm a qualified level 2 Fitness Instructor with a passion for all things fitness and health related. Whether that be physically/ mental/nutritional. Motivation and passion in this industry is key. Having understanding to what stops/pushes people when it comes to physical activity of any kind is important in reaching goals. Enabling them to unlock their full potential and self belief. I started teaching weekly Zumba for 3 years which gave me a fantastic platform to create my own journey into the fitness industry. I currently teach "kris-fit Dance fusion workout classes in/around Bristol. I have been on my own personal journey of self discovery into the world of health and fitness & have a good understanding of the struggles people come up against when looking for a class to feel comfortable and welcome in. This experience pushed my passion in life with weightloss and health and has given me full understanding when working with clients.I'm also a qualified dog groomer with 17 years experience. I've had fantastic opportunitiesto be able to compete in London and in Birmingham where I won first and second place in "best new comer". I have worked/ managed grooming salons in the past which I thoroughly enjoyed. I have worked within a primary school with a 1 to 1 students with additional needs. I found this very rewarding. After personal experience with mental health after lockdown/covid, the drive to work in the community and care Industry was something that resonatedwith me. I wanted to do something that integrated the care and the time to really make a difference to other people lives.I wanted to give to those who can't or won't get that from a fitness class. I now work part time for a wonderful company who's passion is to make a difference to people's lives and independence. This really resonated with me, I feel I have been given the opportunity to make a difference and help those who need it in a different way to the fitness side of teaching I do. Care can come in many different forms, whether that's dancing in a hall full of abled bodied people, to sitting, walking and talking to those who aren't able to be as able bodied or have the capacity/facilities to be healthy and active but most of all happy. The care industry is not just for the elderly and there is so much you can give when you free up your time to do so. I had free time... and here we are. 💥👌🏼🙂
