I am a seasoned compliance professional with a proven track record of success in leading corporate compliance, trading compliance, and KYC teams. With 20+ years of experience in the industry, I have developed a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in ensuring adherence to compliance standards.In my current role as the Director of Compliance at Aramco Trading Americas (“ATA”), I am responsible for designing and implementing robust compliance programs to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance across the organization. I have successfully managed complex compliance initiatives, created, and administered compliance training, developed policies, and implemented effective controls to stay within ATA’s risk appetite and safeguard the company.My key skills include corporate compliance, trading compliance, KYC, policy development, training, internal controls, and team leadership. I have a strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and drive a culture of compliance within the organization.Some of my notable achievements include setting up the trading compliance program at ATA (f/k/a Motiva Enterprises), setting up the corporate compliance program and enhancing the KYC program at ATA. I have spearheaded various due diligence initiatives, some of which include; trading surveillance, electronic communications surveillance, and key controls for outside U.S. initiatives and growth.
