I am a strong planner and problem solver who readily adapts to change, works independently and exceeds expectations. I excel in roles requiring self-motivation, goal-oriented planning, and the ability to work with little oversight from my peers or management. My experiences include local and regional emergency planning, budgeting, project management, program development, emergency response, and policy development. My skills include developing and maintaining effective internal and external working relationships, strategic thinking, and the ability to analyze complex problems and to adopt effective and reasonable courses of action with due regard to surrounding circumstances.My previous experience includes serving as Program Leader for the St. Louis Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) Grant Program and Project Manager for UASI initiatives, serving as Program Manager for the St. Louis Regional Catastrophic Preparedness Grant (RCPG) Program, developing and managing regional training and exercise programs, assisting in the development of grant projects, emergency planning, writing requests for proposal, creating and leading multi-disciplinary work groups, and leading the regional THIRA/SPR process, including annual reporting.
