About Kristen Corey

Welcome.My formal education was a pretty standard accounting route. Bachelors in Acct -> Masters in Acct -> Public AccountingI then took a hard right when I had the opportunity to move abroad to Strasbourg, France. Since I am not fluent in French nor IFRS, I decided to look into freelancing some other areas of business I was interested in. As a freelancer I:~ Did PR for a fashion app company~ Ran social media for a business coach~ Provided graphic design for a real estate agent~ And wrote countless blog articles, among other marketing jobsFreelancing is challenging work, in that it has almost no stability. So when I returned to the states, I returned to the most stable industry I knew, accounting.The only issue was every accounting company wanted to hire me for my marketing experience.And MediaBooks was born.MediaBooks is the intersection of accounting and marketing where we provide data-driven marketing practices for accountants who deserve to have their story told.
