Im working & serving as both a Middle School Intervention Aide & a Student Teacher in a 7th grade EL class for my TESOL Endorsement/Master’s Program for my online program at UC. I’m a licensed teacher, but love my job & student teaching. I help students with behavioral issues, getting caught up in school work. & use CPI Techniques to assist students. I’m also getting SIOP Trained for my EL class & TESOL Program.

While I just passed my ELA (English Teaching Certification), I’m currently a substitute teacher for Westfield High School.

My position is that of an ESL Teacher at Lakota East High School & a Freshman English Teacher at Lakota East Freshmen Building.

I work as an After-School Activities leader for the Y’s BAC Program in one of the schools in the greater Indianapolis area. We set up different stations, tutoring/homework areas, & games/activities for children who obtain after-school care.

I’m currently an ENL IA for HSE Schools in Fishers, Indiana. While my home school is Fall Creek Junior High, I serve both FCJH & Fishers Junior High as I provide services & push-in support for our ENL students.

As of the middle of October 2016, I will be a Remediation RTI Aide for grade levels K-5. I will have focus RTI groups, will teach LLI, perform progress monitoring on AimsWeb, and teach guided Reading and Math curricula pertaining to the children's specific levels. I collaborate and work with teachers to see what they are looking for, and will participate in RTI & SpEd meetings.

I assist children of upper elementary age who are coping with Autism, SLDs, & other behavioral issues. I also help take data on them as they're working towards obtaining their IEP goals.

I worked as a sped resource aide and assist children who have autism, specific learning needs, and behavioral issues. My concentration was on children who were coping with Autism or specific learning disabilities (K-3). I was able to assist children in second grade advance their grades in Reading & Writing as my lead teacher showed me how to use best practices with these children. I also developed my own lesson ideas off of general curriculum for a one-on-one first grader I worked with.

I assist children in the Lifeskills classroom with IEP goals, Reading, Writing, Math, & Community Service Experiences. I also work with children who are on the Autism Sprctrum. I also tutor elementary aged children after school who need to be at grade level for Reading/Language Arts & Math. Been trained in the TEACCH Method, & will be CPI trained in November.
