This was my third and final clinical rotation throughout physical therapy school. I progressed to a full workload independently within the public school system. I was able to develop strong skills in evaluations, patient handling, therapeutic exercise, reporting at IEP meetings, and inter-professional collaboration. I was exposed to a wide variety of pediatric patients ranging from ages 3-22 years old. Common diagnoses treated includes Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Muscular Dystrophy, and Developmental Delay.

Greater San Diego Area

This was my second clinical rotation throughout physical therapy school. I was able to progress to a full workload independently within a private-pay outpatient neurological clinic. I was able to develop strong skills in evaluations, patient handling, therapeutic exercise, and documentation. I was able to be exposed to a wide variety of diagnoses including spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, stroke, and traumatic brain injury.

This was my first clinical rotation throughout physical therapy school. I was able to progress to a full workload independently within a hospital based outpatient orthopedic clinic. Developed strong skills in evaluations, patient handling, therapeutic exercise, and documentation. I was able to be exposed to a wide variety of patients including post-surgical, workers compensation, vestibular, and neurological conditions.

I was able to assist clinical staff (OT and PT) in treatment interventions such as therapeutic exercise, ADL training, ambulation training, and modalities at UPMC Mercy Hospital on their spinal cord injury and stroke units.
