I am responsible for organizing lesson plans and running classes for kids, teens, and adults. I teach a variety of classes including: HTML and CSS, Minecraft modding with Java, stop motion animation, and digital design with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.I also perform numerous administrative duties remotely, including, but not limited to, managing the website, scheduling, creating email campaigns for subscribers, and designing digital and print marketing content.

In addition to online community and events management, I have been partaking in graphic design and game-based commissions as an online content creator for BlockWorks. BlockWorks is an international team of designers, architects and animators working within a game environment that frequently collaborates with a variety of companies including Warner Bros., Disney, and Microsoft. Our aim is to maximize the huge potential of Minecraft in marketing, media, and education.I am responsible helping execute commissions within tight deadlines. As a result, I have been able to develop my creative and time management skills, along with my ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse global team. Some of my other responsibilities include administration, interviewing, evaluating and hiring new recruits, human resources, chat moderation, and event planning.In September 2016, I attended Minecon in Anaheim, California, as a panelist and representative for BlockWorks. Two months later, my short essay titled “More Than a Game” was published in “Beautiful Minecraft”, a compendium of Minecraft artwork by James Delaney.

My main responsibility was to ensure a smooth transition between the paper mailing list and the digital database for the duration of the winter sale. I participated in the implementation of Lisa's Cosmetics' new communication systems and assessed registration numbers to evaluate the effectiveness of current advertising methods. I also directed customers to relevant departments, answered their questions, and assisted them in connecting to Lisa’s Cosmetics advertising campaigns via email and social media.

I aided in the store's sales and helped customers find what they were looking for quickly. I took on many responsibilities in a variety of departments, always maintaining an open mind so I could learn all aspects of general merchandise, textbook sales, books, and cash.I was responsible for organizing and restocking merchandise that included campus clothing, office supplies, and giftware. While working in textbook sales, I was required to be knowledgeable of the multitude of different textbooks and courses available at the University so I could efficiently address customers’ needs.

As the elected Vice President of Communications, I was responsible for managing and creating social media content as well as organizing communications for the Japanese Student Association at the University of Western Ontario. I ensured that all events and meetings were advertised on-time via the various social media platforms, utilizing visually appealing and eye-catching designs. I would contact all registered members and provide them with up-to-date information regarding events and meetings. I would also coordinate communication between the other JSA executives and our sponsors.In addition, I redesigned the Japanese Student Association's logo, which is being used on all official documentation and materials at the University of Western Ontario.

I worked within a cabin group as a co-counsellor, managing and organizing activities for the entire cabin group while providing specific supervision and assistance to a camper with additional needs. Some daily activities included: swim periods, lunch, arts and crafts, canoeing, and sports. I would help my one-on-one prepare for and participate in these activities, whilst ensuring the rest of the cabin group was also prepared and engaged.I ensured that my campers and one-on-ones were able to fully engage in activities that may have been difficult on their own. Through encouragement and support, they were able to partake in activities along with their fellow campers and experience camp life to the fullest; whether that was through free swim, staying on overnight camping expeditions, or making new friends.

I was a Senior Community Manager for Gazamo Gaming’s online role-playing Minecraft community and server, A’therys Ascended. Some of my responsibilities included moderating online content in-game and on the forums, reviewing applications, answering questions in the help chat, and resolving disputes between community members.
