- Oversee and ensure compliance with government required food safety regulations- Oversee and ensure compliance with Global Food Safety Initiative requirements- Provide coaching and mentoring to direct reports and other Quality Assurance team members- Analyze data and provide tracking/trending results to management- Participate on continuous improvement projects- Oversee Food Safety and Animal Welfare training programs- Conduct internal Animal Welfare audits - Working with Production Supervisors and Management to maintain the highest level of Food Safety and Animal Welfare- Contact for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency- Participate in customer, third party and exporting country audits

- Perform all administrative duties (telephone, filing, plan meetings etc)- Follow up with producers regarding CQA Deficiencies to ensure compliance- Communicate with investors- Maintain water and feed test records for all sites- Assist with completion of exporting procedures- Organize and maintain medication/ supply warehouse- Assist Veterinarian with lab duties and prescriptions
