-Assists the assigned Divisions in preparing budgets based on their appropriations and revenue sources-Analyzes the financial history of each division and interprets trends as well as current needs in order to develop a cost effective plan for future objectives-Processes all aspects of fiscal related duties for the procurement of goods and services, including the review, bidding, and processing of purchase transactions -Responsible for the oversight of all aspects involved with the Department Specific Term Contracts as well as the State-wide Contracts as utilized within the Department-Researches the Methods of Operations for each term contract; works with the appropriate Division to select the appropriate vendors-Ensures all procurement processed stands in compliance with protocol as delegated by the Department of Treasury-Division of Purchase & Property-Prepares Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) as necessary for non-contract goods or services; participates in the bid evaluation process and advises Divisions of a recommended vendor based on the bid submissions-Prepares fiscal and procurement analysis reports; completes special projects as assigned; utilizes internal systems and alternate software tools to present findings in a comprehensive format-Responsible for processing travel requests and all related transactions such as managing expenses, identifying per diems, verifying mileage and supporting documentation, issuing payments and processing employee reimbursements -Oversees the payment process for rental events held at the War Memorial and NJ State Museum by developing and maintaining spreadsheets reflecting individual payments; maintains open communication with War Memorial/Museum staff on current balances-Audits deposits and monitor purchasing ensuring a balance of appropriations and revenue-Maintains and organizes the Unit’s centralized filing system for purchases, payments, and deposits after securing the appropriate approvals

Manages Fiscal/Procurement practices for the NJ State Museum and War Memorial involving budget preparation, accounting, order process monitoring and contracting. Supervises the Admissions Program at the Museum and works with the Operations Team in the planning and on site management of high-profile events, meetings and conferences for government agencies, corporations, non-profits, and private affairs. Interfaces with the NJ State Police preparing security requests and arrangements.
