Kristen studied a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) at RMIT University and in her last year decided she really wanted to work somewhere where she could get exposure to marketing and get a jump start in her career.That’s where she came across the administrative assistant position with linkfluencer®. Not long after she was promoted to marketing assistant, and then promoted once again to account manager due to her excellent customer service, organisation, client relations and marketing skills.After almost three years with linkfluencer® and watching their new B2B software Jayla spring to life, Kristen thought it was the perfect time to pursue her passion for reading, writing and editing with an opportunity at Melbourne Books. Here she worked alongside the founder to assist with editing, proofreading and publicity for upcoming titles. In November 2022, Kristen was headhunted for the role of Course Administrator at Candlefox, a company on a mission to achieve clever and innovative education marketing streamlining the student acquisition journey. In less than 12 months she was promoted to Digital Content Writer, and then Content Marketing Specialist, where she is now responsible for writing B2B and B2C copy for blogs, email and SMS marketing, and socials across all Candleflox marketplaces. For more than seven years, Candlefox has been assisting education providers to increase student enrolments. Having established an industry-leading marketplace in Australia, Candlefox expanded into New Zealand in 2017 and the United Kingdom in 2018.
