I am responsible for assessing and qualifying students for possible special education services. In addition, I consult with general education teachers to provide additional information and support for struggling learners who may or may not be identified. I work closely with administration and the Response to Intervention team to monitor the progress of current tiered students. I am responsible for overseeing the completion of Full Individual Evaluations and manage Individualized Educational Plans for multiple campuses.

I have taught Special Education for the past seven years for the Fort Worth Independent School District. The school I teach at has grades K-8th grade, and I have served Special Ed. services to all grade levels throughout my time here. I am responsible for generating and managing individual goals and objectives for each one of my students. I routinely meet and discuss student progress with the General Education teachers, and I help implement teaching strategies and differential instruction for our special needs and at-risk students.
