When I was 18, I became a ski instructor. At 19, I trained to be a whitewater raft guide. Just after my 21st birthday, while living in Argentina, I decided I wanted to join the Peace Corps. By 25, I decided I wanted to try out the corporate world, so I packed up my VW Passat with my bike on the roof and moved to Boulder. I didn’t have a job or a place to live, but that’s where I was headed.While I was job searching, I thought about quitting and moving back home more times than I can remember. Despite the countless interviews, equally as many rejection letters, and no real end in sight, I kept going. I’m that person. Once I say I’ll do something, it will happen.Now, I put that perseverance to work as a marketer.
