Collaborative leader, artist and educator, with over 20 years experience in education, nonprofit management, arts administration, wellness, and community engagement. Long record of service and contribution to mission-driven organizations that advance innovative programs, promote creativity and well-being, and cultivate cross-industry partnerships. Extensive, broad skill set spanning business and academia, specializing in teaching, operational management, programming, and human/customer/client relations. Business experience includes: Fiscal planning and management; Strategic development; Managing multiple projects from inception to actualization; Grant writing and reporting; Personnel hiring, training, and supervision; Contract negotiations and writing; Board cultivation; Customer service and retention; Brand marketing; and Data inventory, audit, and analysis. Taught Contemporary Dance Technique, Alexander Technique, Dance Science and Somatics, and Composition on the faculties of Temple, Pig Iron/UArts, Drexel, and Bryn Mawr, and have been commissioned to create new choreography for students at Drexel, West Chester, and Trinity College. Practice also includes collaborating as a Teaching Artist for The Institute on Disabilities on a public history research project and pilot program for the Selinsgrove Center, teaching movement to high school programs for students with learning disabilities, creative movement and gymnastics for daycare centers and competitive gyms, the Dance for Parkinson’s Disease program, and the Philadelphia Cancer Support Community. She is the artistic director of the project-based ensemble freshblood, whose choreography has been presented in Philly, New York, and Boulder.
