This position at East Central H.S. was a internship through Texas State University. During my internship I independently prepared lessons and taught English II On-level with ELP students, English II P-AP, and Debate I Public Forum for 10 weeks. Additionally, I successfully designed and taught entire unit lesson plans for both novels, The Hobbit and Frankenstein. I also created several constructive revising and editing workshops to emphasize the importance of the writing process before the STAAR. This school was truly an amazing place to work on my craft as a teacher. My mentor and colleagues at East Central taught me more than I could have ever asked which I will forever be grateful for.

My duties at ACEE included answering phone calls, responding to emails/work orders, problem solving, trouble shooting skills, and working with word/excel/quick books. I also filed all paperwork, reorganized work spaces, and kept the entire office tidy and sanitary for all workers.

Guest Services Representative.My daily tasks included handling my own money bag, selling tickets/seasonal passes, accommodating guests, receiving and logging in lost and found items, and, of course, making sure the entire park ran accordingly. This job entailed excellent customer service skills, and I loved it. Sadly, this job was only seasonal.
