Donor360 is an ethical eCommerce platform that enables charities and their advocates to fundraise with organic, Fair Trade, eco-friendly, and cruelty-free products. We are disrupting the eCommerce industry with heart-based consumerism. I started working with Donor360 over a year ago as a freelance writer. Now, I am a full-time brand storyteller and coordinator of great brand/charity opportunities.

As an educator and leader at one of the biggest and most well-known tuition centers in Singapore, I guided a team of six teachers, helped with curriculum and best practice development, and taught 19 classes a week. My position required me to work closely with the desk staff, teaching team, and students' parents. Within my centre I was responsible for upholding the high level of education quality and for ensuring that the teaching staff was updated and equipped to be the best teachers they could be.

As a yoga instructor at Yoga Movement, I led about eight classes a week to students of all levels and abilities. I taught Power, Hot Power, Power Flow, Core, Hot Core, Zen, and Basics classes. My favorite classes to teach were Core because I love to challenge people and Power Flow because of its similarity to Ashtanga Vinyasa. During my time as YM, I also taught a special workshop class entitled 'Moving Mindfully' where we explored how to bring a mindfulness practice to the mat and how to utilize this in day to day life.

As Co-Owner and advertising manager at Soul Sister Fit, I designed programmes, built and maintained the website, and wrote newsletters. As a start-up, we were able to break-even in the first six months of business and had over 100 clients and a mailing list of 700.

As a reading specialist, my role was to assess children's individual abilities and place them in the correct program to ensure their continual growth. I taught 19 classes a week of varying levels and age groups (2-11) which required me to utilize different teaching skills and styles. I was solely responsible for observing and gaging students' progress, as well as classroom management. I strived to create a fun and safe learning environment for my students, as well as develop personal relationships with them. During my time at this school, we underwent a franchise change and I was then responsible for student retention and recruitment.

I built the "Active" section of City Nomads (www.citynomads.com), Singapore's go-to lifestyle guide, by seeking out adventurous and torturous workout routines around the city. I tailored my writing to the needs and expectations of our readers, making it lively and conversational. I organized meet-ups and partnerships with local businesses to ensure our magazine was giving readers the best options and pricing. I also wrote travel features and worked together with another writer to co-author longer features.

As a writer for the arts and culture section of my university's newspaper, I was responsible for brainstorming and pitching all my own stories, as well as taking on assigned stories. I did in-depth interviews and penned stories which catered to the reading interests of college students. These stories included community and college interest features, staff and student profiles, and comedic sidebars. I was expected to produce 1-3 stories per week on deadline.

As a media intern, I wrote long-form feature stories about outstanding athletes, coaches, and teams. These stories were included in game day programs, the Vandal athletics magazine, and on the Vandal Athletics website. I spent time interviewing and getting to know the subjects of my articles to ensure the features were in-depth and captivating. I was also responsible for writing press releases and media alerts on a fast deadline.
