As a Senior Real Estate Specialist with the leasing team, I was responsible for the management of lease renewals, terminations and other contractual obligations for all existing lease agreements for the University of Minnesota system-wide. Responsible for new lease transactions for off-campus real estate space requirements. Responsibilities included conducting market research, financial analysis, advising University units on business terms, negotiation of lease terms and leasehold improvement coordination.

Managed a real estate portfolio of over 622,000 square feet of properties throughout the Twin Cities for several local ownership groups. Property types include retail, office, and industrial. Prior to this portfolio, provided on-site management of Oracle and International Centre, a 622,000 square foot office complex in downtown Minneapolis. Responsibilities in this role included the development and management of project schedules for building operations and capital improvements; preparation of annual property budgets and monthly financial reports for owners and investors; performing annual operating expense reconciliations; executing leasing activities for all properties; management of accounts payable for properties in accordance to the annual budget.

Supported the management of over two million square feet of office, industrial, retail, medical office, and residential properties throughout the Twin Cities area. Prior to this role, supported the on-site management of over 500,000 square feet of office complex in downtown Minneapolis.Responsibilities in this role included the coordination and management of maintenance and service work orders for tenants in accordance to the terms of their lease; solicitation of proposals for service work for properties and in leased spaces and management of these projects to completion; execution of rent collections with tenants including coordinating default remedies on behalf of Landlords.

Supported the Human Resources Department with various company projects and initiatives.
