Marketing & Communications Coordinator I held an integral role in the Marketing and Communications environment for the business, supporting each of the business sectors in establishing a strong industry presence through participation at trade exhibitions, conferences, award functions and other industry association events. Responsible for corporate merchandise management, as well as helping to align all advertising and PR opportunities for the organisation with future project opportunities in each of our key market sectors. Peripheral to this, I managed and was working to reinvigorate UGL’s dynamic online environment, through our web presence, intranet, social networking platforms and integrated internal communications strategy, as well as playing a key support role in UGL’s busy Investor Relations space.

Travelling Fit are a Marathon Travel specialist company which has grown to include over 30 marathons such as the ING New York City Marathon, Berlin Marathon, Tokyo Marathon, Marathon des Sables and Comrades Marathon. We also now support the National Heart Foundation and Cerebral Palsy Education Centre to help them with their fundraising. The team at Travelling Fit are more than just consultants, they are experienced Travel Specialists. The Role: My functions included creating, managing and maintaining running event packages. This incorporated arranging solo & large groups of runners to domestic and international running events such as New York Marathon, Easter Island Marathon, Disney Marathon, Paris Marathon etc. I maintained our company's social media presence and was engaged in joint management of larger events, (250 people upwards) as part of a small working team as well as arranging all aspects of travel, insurance, race packs & running kits.Primarily my goal was to engage with the client to create an amazing experience and a lasting memory of their Marathon achievement. http://www.travellingfit.com
