I graduated from Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law in 2017. I have been a misdemeanor prosecutor since I was admitted to the Bar later that same year. My caseload predominantly consists of DUI, property and traffic crimes. DUI cases make up by far the majority of my cases. I am passionate about what I do. I am always eager to take advantage of training opportunities, especially in the area of DUI law. I also occasionally assist with training presentations for law enforcement officers in DUI investigations and courtroom testimony. Additionally, I handle appeals for my own and some other cases in my office. I have had opinions published on two of the four cases I have had before the Georgia Court of Appeals (1 was unpublished and the other was transferred to the Supreme Court of Georgia). I have argued in front of the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court. I am currently awaiting the decision on my Georgia Supreme Court Case.Prior to law school I spent 4 years as a legal assistant in a personal injury and worker's compensation firm. Before that my experience includes administrative duties, public relations, photography, event planning, and leading worship. I took the scenic route to my legal career with stops working in many industries, including working for a NASCAR team and doing freelance public relations and photography work for a few lower division NASCAR drivers.
