I manage communications for the Northeast Regional Center for Rural Development (NERCRD), a Penn State-based center with a diverse portfolio of federally funded research and community-based projects. In this role, I develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy for the Center and its projects in collaboration with multiple stakeholders. I write and edit news stories; manage multiple websites, newsletters, and social-media accounts; market programs by designing posters, infographics, brochures that uphold the Center's brand; co-organize and co-host webinars and conferences; produce grant deliverables in collaboration with project team members from multiple universities; and facilitate internal communications.

As a freelance writer, I specialize in agriculture and sustainability-related topics. My work has appeared in Lancaster Farming, the Centre Daily Times, and various Penn State publications.
