In this position, I was responsible for:- The management of several different clients at once. This responsibiltiy could range from engaging students in educational and multi-faceted projects to basic medical attention.- Data collections and assessment. The assessment component ranged from daily observations and logs, to a much more thorough and comprehensive assessment with links to the curriculum.- Conflict resolution between students. Whether the resolution be an immediate interference, a or a long-term resolution which involves more significant behavioural modifications. - Integration of the French language throughout daily activites, routines and transtions.- Interpersonal communication. Effective communication between school and home was necessary to keep parents engaged and informed. Consistent comunication within the classroom and program Educators was also important to ensure a proper delivery of curriculum and exchange of ideas.- Time management. In the role of Educator, it is necessary to divide your time between several priorities and follow-up to ensure their completion.- Organization. With students requiring the use of many different resources, it is important to ensure their proper organization for re-use at a later date.

This responsibility varied from taking care of immediate needs to ensuring the attainment of long-term goals.- Interpersonal skills. As a program manager, it was necessary to actively listen as well as be empathic to ensure proper and polite communications to clients' families.- Scheduling. Creating and maintaing structure and balance within our patrons days. - Documentation and document production. The completion of daily records to be sent home at the end of every week, as well as program planning for the following week. - Communication. At any point throughout the day, it was necessary taking the time to address each family and speak with them about independent goals. There was also a responsibility to contribute to a daily log book which would be read by each employee for the purposes of tracking and highlighting any issues which needed to be addressed.
