Duties include setup and approval of all customer accounts, review of all library card applications for accuracy, cash handling and balancing of cash daily, use of all library systems including CASSIE and ALEXANDRIA, use of MS Office suite, preparation of correspondence and e-mail (MS Outlook), provide computer assistance to and resolve computer issues for library patrons. Manage library inventory determining out of date materials, procure library books staying within the library budget, catalogue new library materials, perform annual inventory, and operate all library equipment including fax, printers, computers, answer telephones. Provide excellence in customer service to all library patrons.

Performed all duties related to guest services area including selling tickets for admission to the park, handled guest concerns and suggestions, and provided information to guests. Responsible for collecting money from ticket sales, reviewed coupons for validity, balanced cash at end of shift. Assisted guests with directions and information related to all areas and departments of the park. All work was performed in a fast-paced environment. Good verbal and written communication skills were required. This position required self motivation and a strong work ethic. Shortly after beginning work at the park, my family moved to Brenham, TX.
