Business Application Owner of enterprise Knowledge Management application, InQuira, and enterprise Business Process Management application, Pega.• Created and implemented operating models for both applications, addressing pain points and improving relationships and communications between business and IT.• Reduced open change controls by 50% in first 3 months, increased application stability, and nearly eliminated post-release fall-out.

Director of Inbound Engagement Roadmap, including Knowledge Management, Search, and Click-to-Engage capabilities for The Hartford. Worked with business in assessing current capabilities and defining future needs. Partnered with IT in developing strategic roadmap expanding capabilities across enterprise.

Program Director of several key initiatives within Enterprise Operations organization (Personal Lines, Small Commercial, Middle Market, and Shared Services). Accountable for planning, execution, and delivery of programs / projects, including oversight of project team, ongoing senior leadership updates, and coordination of implementation. Notable Projects:• Enterprise Operations Sourcing Program (EOSP), strategic initiative for 2011 – 2014. Developed program structure and program plan to outsource over 700 business support roles over 3 years. Provided daily program oversight and direction to project managers and teams.• Process Optimization Program (POP), strategic initiative for 2010 – 2013. Developed program structure to execute on Top 70 most impactful process improvements over 3 years, providing daily oversight and direction to overall program and individual initiatives. Opportunities included leaning, outsourcing, organizational design, and / or workforce management tools. Program on track to achieve over $30M in savings across Enterprise Operations over 5 years. Program went on to win a 2012 Chairman's Award.• Remote Work Program (RWP) for Service Operations, completed July 2010. 2009 Chairman’s Award winner, The Hartford’s highest form of recognition. Enabled over 1.5K employees across United States, including over 600 call center agents, to work full-time from home. Achieving over $20M in savings in first 3 years, program is now being used to move employees home across enterprise.

Provided consultative support for HIMCO, the Group Benefits Division, and the Life Corporate organizations in building business resilience capabilities in the event of a disaster.

Accountable for implementation of over $25M in projects, across multiple portfolios. Provided financial oversight of each portfolio and forecasting of portfolio demand over year.

Led the Individual Annuity IT support organization of 75+ staff, including managers, developers, business analysts, and architects, located in Windsor, CT, Woodbury, MN, and India. Managed annual budget of $8.5M, including variance reporting, annual budgeting, and staff forecasting. Oversaw application development, maintenance, production support, and implementation of 30+ projects per year.

Provided systems development and production support of annuities, 401(k), pensions, and mutual funds applications for over 200 internal business customers. Connecticut Mutual was acquired by Massachusetts Mutual in 1996.

Performed systems implementations at various financial clients in Northeast, including application design, development, and testing of small to large systems.
