As a producer of general news, I worked every shift of the day. I prioritized stories, wrote scripts and timed out shows. I triaged breaking news and sent crews as needed. I kept the website sparkling. I write jokes, craft stories and work on my stage performance. I explore observational material and mix in my own absurdities.Sometimes I write stories, too.I was a finalist in the Empire Couch Summer Comedy Classic. 64 comedians entered, I was one of the top 5.

For three-and-a-half years I steered the show 207. As the producer of an entertainment/culture focused newsmagazine, I approached guests, assigned stories, wrote a good deal of copy, maintained the website, managed a calendar for two anchors, one photographer and one multi-media journalist and help with the technical aspects of in-studio recordings.

In 2009, my friend and I had an idea to marry our love of local music with our skills as filmmakers. We met with musicians in their practice spaces and filmed intimate music videos with an accompanying write-up. As the editor-in-chief, the words were my purview. I also set up audio, shot a handful of angles and coordinated shoots.
