Profile bio

About Kristi Augustine, M. Ed

I am an innovative instructional designer and developer with experience in designing and developing engaging learning solutions that align with and meet organizational goals. I am invigorated by working with subject matter experts (SMEs), conducting gap analysis, identifying organizational and learning needs, and using my gift of strategic thinking to design and develop targeted learning for adult learners that is both relevant and accessible. My background in curriculum and instruction allows me to excel in storyboarding, developing design documents, script writing, and backwards design. To expand my expertise, I completed a 9-month intensive course with Applied Instructional Design Academy (AIDA), in which I worked extensively with authoring tools such as Articulate Rise 360 and Articulate Storyline 360, Vyond, and Camtasia among other technologies to design and develop eLearning courses and to stay current with the latest technologies. As a former instructional coach, I caught fire with a passion for working with adult learners and knew pursuing instructional design and development is exactly what I wanted to do. I was able to employ the ADDIE Model as it was intended and really dig deep to develop my expertise as an Adult Learning Specialist, with an overall goal of changing behaviors and culture, especially among resistant learners. This strategic approach led to the largest increase in overall goal attainment in the district. During this time, I was in the running for Teacher of the Year and was voted on and received an award by my peers for being a leader within the organization. I would love to connect and create powerful learning solutions together! Please reach out at kristi.augustine.id@gmail.com.
