I hold a Coaching Credential through ASPIRE/NY Works For Children. This Credential offers me the opportunity to work with early childhood and school age providers through extended one on one peer interactions to enhance the work they do and help the provider set their own course for professional growth.

Trained in the CEFEL Pyramid Modules including Infant-Toddler Modules 1-3, Preschool Modules 1-3, PIWI, and Coaching Modules. I have facilitated approximately 35 module trainings since becoming credentialed.

Oversees the development and implementation of ASPIRE-approved trainings for early childhood educators in Onondaga and Cayuga Counties and throughout the state, facilitated by credentialed/verified trainers. Offers Technical Assistance to programs and works with the Office of Children and Family Services, PDP, and various grant organizations to implement grant-funded projects focusing on enhancing early learning.

Credentialed trainer through ASPIRE/NY Works for Children. Certified to teach workshops/trainings in the area of early childhood education, with extensive experience working with children and families, and providing professional development in the field of early childhood education.

As a PDS, I observe CDA students who are preparing to receive their CDA certification, and advise each student according to their strengths and weaknesses. I am responsible for the completion of the CDA Observation Instrument, which is sent to the Council for review. I mentor each CDA student in preparation for their final assessment, and ultimately for hire into the early childhood field. As a PDS, I need to have a good working knowledge of the field of early childhood education, child development, and understanding of the federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to licensed early childhood programs.

Instructor for the Ulster Co. BOCES Adult Education Child Development Associates Certification, I instruct adults who are interested in working, or continuing their work, in the early childhood filed. I am responsible for covering the CDA curriculum, as well as helping the students prepare for their final assessment.

Responsible for the overall daily operations of the childcare program, including safety, staff hiring and training, client enrollment, curriculum, maintaining NYS licensing regulations. NAEYC accreditation applied for, and received since 1988.

Certified to train early childhood educators and other individuals who require the NYS Office of Children and Family Services Mandated Reporter Training: Identifying and Reporting Child Abuse and Maltreatment.

Ran a NYS icensed Group Family daycare program for 12 years. Responsibilities included overseeing the daily operations of the program, maintaining licensing regulations, curriculum implementation, staff hiring and training, and client enrollment.

Worked a the head teacher of a 3/4 year old classroom in a NYS licensed childcare center. Oversaw the classroom design, curriculum implementation, and the designation of responsibilities to my assistant.
