I worked as a Primary Care Behavioral Health Psychologist at Hennepin County Medical Center. I split my time between two outpatient primary care clinics and worked as a member of the integrated primary care teams at both locations.

As a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Minnesota Medical School, I split my time between two outpatient primary care clinics in the greater Twin Cities area. I functioned as a therapist, educator, and researcher within these clinics. I carried a diverse caseload of my own patients, all of whom have been referred by their primary care physician. Additionally, I helped facilitate behavior modification and mental health groups for patients. I was also part of the educational curriculum for two family medicine residencies. In this role, I provided supervision and feedback to family medicine residents on their interpersonal communication skills with their patients. I also served as a mental health consultant for residents and faculty physicians and provided education and training on behavioral interventions to improve patient well-being. Finally, I was responsible for conducting and participating in research projects within the primary care setting.
