Collaborate with Benefits team to develop strategic initiatives for our health and welfare benefit programs, including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, life, AD&D insurance, health savings and flexible spending accounts, employee assistance program, and voluntary benefits. Evaluate the effectiveness of programs through reporting metrics and data analytics and initiatives to make data-driven decisions regarding program improvements, plan performance and effectiveness. Participate in vendor selection, contract negotiations and establishment of performance guarantees for vendors. Implemented a Protection Pack benefit company wide that includes services ID theft monitoring, financial advice, global travel and roadside assistance. Enhanced the company's EAP program and therapy sessions covered under the group health plan. Advise and provide excellent customer service to employees on complex benefit-related issues.

Manage overall functions for Health Plan Management and vendors including medical, dental, and vision plans and ancillary benefits. Manage Benefit company policies. Develop benefits communications to better engage employees to partner in managing health and wellbeing. Manage implementation of new vendors. Implemented a company wide bariatric program in addition to a navigation and advocacy pilot program.

Support Benefits Management team with analytical reports. Liaison between vendors and Tyson on eligibility requirements. Administer all subrogation, audit vendors and programs.

Negotiate and renegotiate contracts for all Tyson Preferred Network agreements. Coordinate claims payments with providers and support network provider issues. Generate impact and GAP analysis when adding or replacing networks.

Provided SAP support and training for HR end-users. Performed on-going changes to pay scales within SAP and created various Adhoc reports.

Data entry (new hires, terminations, transfers, qualifying life events, etc..) into HRIS and Time & Attendance Systems. Assisted with the completion of the Affirmative Action Plan, Business Plan, Wage Review and various other projects.
