As a previous Oncology nurse navigator, I am uniquely positioned in my current surgical recovery department to help aid my team on port a cath care, chemo precautions, and provide education to staff through nursing grand rounds for breast cancer prevention, screening guidelines, and risk reduction. I volunteer my time, in an in-person breast cancer support group through my Church once a month guiding topics and providing resources as needed.
